Straight answers about what Migra does, what it costs, and what it doesn’t do.
Yes, that’s what it’s built for. Each attack records intensity, pain location, symptoms, triggers, medications and what gave relief, and Migra adds barometric pressure and temperature automatically, plus sleep, steps and resting heart rate from Apple Health if you allow it. After 5 attacks the Insights tab ranks your top triggers; once a medication has been taken at least twice across 3 attacks, Migra scores how well it works for you. On iOS 26 and later, Apple’s on-device AI also writes a plain-language summary of your patterns.
Yes. Migra reads the iPhone’s built-in barometer for live pressure and Apple WeatherKit for the forecast, saves the pressure with every attack, and alerts you when a pressure drop beyond your personal sensitivity threshold is on the way — often hours before symptoms could start.
Yes. Start an attack with one tap from the home screen widget or the Apple Watch app and add the details later, when the screen is bearable. Migraine Mode turns the whole app dim and low-contrast with large tap targets; switch it on from the dashboard or keep it always on.
Migra is a free download, and tracking requires Migra Pro. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial. In the US, Pro costs $59.99 per year or $9.99 per month; other countries see their local price in the App Store. Cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings.
A PDF you can send to your neurologist: an attack summary, your MIDAS and HIT-6 scores, a monthly overview, attacks by day of the week, your top triggers and patterns, current medications and how well each one works, relief methods and average time to relief, and a log of every episode.
On your iPhone. There’s no account, no Migra server and no cloud sync, and no analytics tied to your health data. AI insights run on-device using Apple’s models, so your migraine history never leaves your phone.
iPhone with iOS 18 or later, plus an optional Apple Watch app (watchOS 10 or later) to start and end attacks from your wrist. AI summaries need iOS 26 on an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence. The app is available in 29 languages. There is no Android version.
It doesn’t diagnose migraine or recommend treatment — it isn’t a medical device, and MIDAS and HIT-6 are screening questionnaires, not diagnoses. It has no Siri shortcuts, no sync between devices and no CSV export, and it only runs on iPhone and Apple Watch.
No. The Watch app is optional but useful for one-tap logging from your wrist when looking at your phone hurts.
Three things: on-device AI (no cloud), real-time barometric pressure from the iPhone’s own sensor (not just a weather feed), and Migraine Mode, designed for use during an active attack. And there’s no account to create.
